David Austin^® Roses has kindly agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each Golden Celebration™ Rose, during the 2009 and 2010 growing seasons, to the work of the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital. Some nurseries have agreed to contribute an additional amount for each rose sold.

Paul Goldman is running in the Marathon des Sables, the "toughest footrace on earth", six marathons in seven days, (250kms) crossing sand dunes, rocky terrain and salt pans in temperatures as high as 50°C. Paul must carry everything he needs whilst he runs (food, cooking stove, clothes, sleeping bag, medical supplies).

Paul is running in support of two charities: the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital and a children’s cancer charity in Hong Kong (where Paul lives).
