Paul Goldman is running in the Marathon des Sables, the "toughest footrace on earth", six marathons in seven days, (250kms) crossing sand dunes, rocky terrain and salt pans in temperatures as high as 50°C. Paul must carry everything he needs whilst he runs (food, cooking stove, clothes, sleeping bag, medical supplies).
Paul is running in support of two charities: the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital and a children’s cancer charity in Hong Kong (where Paul lives).
If you would like to donate to the Fund in support of Paul’s run, you can do so by visiting Everyday Hero or by specifying the event on our online donation page.
